• JUNE 28  Larry Cannon Memorial Sprint Car Race 7pm

• JUNE 28 Summer Sounds Concert at Kresge Park in Danville-British Invasion Night with the Brittles-530-8p-no charge- food available from Applewood Farms and C & D Barbq

• JUNE 29  Patriotic Salute Fireworks Show at Vermilion County Fairgrounds, 9pm.  8 townships celebrate their 150th birthday; Verm Co 175th birthday

• JUNE 29 Garden Walk and salad luncheon to benefit Sidell War Veterans Memorial- 9am to 1pm- lunch 11am-1pm $5, at town hall- tickets for garden walk $5 avail at town hall day of walk from 845am
